Memphis Record Pressing (MRP) is a success story that has placed Bartlett squarely on the map--nationally and internationally. The 8-year-old vinyl manufacturer has grown its operation from producing around 800,000 records annually---using six refurbished machines--to 7 million units last year using 16 presses. They are on track to stamp out over 10 million records by this year's end. How did this rags to riches operation unfold? Their story is fascinating and inspirational. It's filled with twists and turns, luck and serendipity, but mostly hard work by its owners and their ability to accurately forecast an industry trend. For example, few knew that by 2022 vinyl records would re-emerge as the most popular way to buy music. In just the first six months of this year almost 20 million vinyl records were sold!
Come lunch us on September 13 at BPAC to hear the story firsthand by one of MRP's owners, Brandon Seavers. Brandon will inform and entertain you with how they got started in the resurgence of the vinyl record business and how MRP is currently undergoing a $25 million expansion to their Bartlett facility, adding 300 new jobs to the area.
Reserve your place today--as this presentation promises to be one of the most popular this year!
A big thank you to Jeffers Enterprises/McDonalds for their Underwriting Support!
