9AM -11AM Wardell will present a free workshop open to the public.
Participants will gain practical skills during the CPR and choking demonstrations as well as information on vital topics such as identifying and reacting to heart attacks, strokes, and the crucial application of Narcan in opioid overdoses. Walk away from this workshop with practical skills essential in emergency situations.
9AM - 1:30PM is for those desiring CPR Certification. After the initial portion of the workshop above attendees, who have paid the $85 CPR Certification fee, will continue with the CPR certification course. This includes hands-on work with the mannequins, as well as course content for Certification through the American Heart Association.
About our Instructor: Wardell Seals Jr., the President and CEO of HeartBeat-CPR, has dedicated decades to instructing individuals throughout the Mid-South on life-saving techniques. His journey commenced as an EMT supervisor at a Mississippi hospital in the mid-1980s, followed by his tenure with the Jackson Fire Department in Jackson, Mississippi, beginning in 1986. Relocating to Memphis in 1991, Seals joined the Memphis Fire Department, leveraging his expertise to initiate his own venture in 1994.
His Memphis-based business focused on providing comprehensive emergency services training.
